How the 10% on each side is calculated. These pages describe how the product works. They are not a substitute for counsel before you take real money.
Cash
PostStays keeps 10% from the resort and 10% from the creator. The resort pays cash plus 10%. The creator receives cash minus 10%. Each side is rounded to the nearest dollar. On $2,000, the resort pays $2,200, the creator receives $1,800, and PostStays keeps $400.
Free stays
Stay value is the amount on the job, or nights times the average nightly rate. By default (record_only) the same 10% + 10% is written on the deal and is not charged. charge_cash adds the resort's 10% of the stay to the card charge and withholds the creator's 10% from any cash payout.
Refunds
An admin can record a full or partial refund against the resort charge. The refund is a ledger row. It does not automatically reverse a creator payout that was already released. There is no monthly subscription. Joining is free.
